Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a hands-on, Senior Engineer to join our team. You will work in a team-oriented environment and will have exposure to many different processes and tasks. A successful candidate would be working within a team of skilled engineers to provide product, application and market solutions for developing market trends and existing customers.

 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Gain knowledge of current product and solutions and understand competitor solutions to drive product improvements.
  • Develop strong business relations across organization to understand critical business problems that require manufacturing-based solutions.
  • Use program management skills and practices to coordinate activities with other engineering resources, cross functional teams, external partners, and ecosystem to ensure timely completion of the project milestones utilizing our internal project execution processes, including Gate Reviews, Design Reviews, and Technical Reviews.
  • Support business groups for Cost out, Root cause analysis, qualifying new supplier and material to manufacture prototypes and production parts.
  • Partner closely with  international teams of electronics, software and mechanical engineers
  • Bring electronic products from design to production
  • Create FMEA and DVPR for industrial electronic product designs

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Bachelors of Electronics Engineering
  • 7-10 years experience in the field
  • Knowledge about analog and digital electronics design
    • Microcontroller design, sensor conditioning, communication networks, DC/DC converter, PWM power drivers
    • Basic knowledge of electrical sensors – LVDT, Pressure, temperature, etc..
  • Experience with EMI and environmental tests
  • Experience with industrial and automation environment
  • Knowledge about product design cycles, release processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly local technicians and remote international support team
