Senior Expert Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Expert Electrical Engineer to join our oil & gas global player offshore team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering electrical engineering support to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance of offshore operations. You’ll oversee maintenance, equipment upgrades, and ensure compliance with industry standards, taking full accountability for both project and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical engineering projects and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.


• Manage electrical systems maintenance and upgrades to minimize downtime.


• Supervise and mentor teams, ensuring compliance with all electrical safety protocols.


• Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring project deliverables are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or IT.


• 12+ years of experience, with 5 years in offshore projects.


• Knowledge of C&I, Telecom, and hazardous area equipment.


• Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and offshore certifications (BOSIE)


• Romanian language mandatory
