Being the experienced Senior Electronics Engineer that you are, you will join our technically savvy team developing Teknique's Oclea camera hardware for video streaming and edge AI applications. You'll be designing hardware in a dynamic work environment to drive forward-thinking, innovative, quality solutions that will reimagine and enhance the way we interact with our homes and businesses.

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Modern electronic design in embedded systems 
  • Using Altium for schematic capture and PCB design with high layer counts and designing for EMI / RFI minimization in PCB's 
  • Using test equipment and test methodologies 
  • Reviewing layouts, BOMs, and gerbers and documenting test plans for the designs 
  • Designing video cameras and understanding their optical systems 
  • Working with DFM/DFT/DFA methodologies 
  • Working with industrial designers to successfully bring products to market experience in sourcing components with the appropriate electrical characteristics and electrical / mechanical lifetimes 
  • Assist in facilitating good communication and actively contribute to building a high-performance team 
  • Uphold and enhance the Teknique brand and reputation 
  • Travel to US and Asia as needed 

 
YOU MUST HAVE: 

  • 5+ years of direct experience with modern electronic design in embedded systems
  • 3+ years of schematic capture and PCB design experience with high layer counts (preference for an experienced Altium user) 
  • 3+ years of PCB fabrication/assembly, board level bring-up, and compatibility & reliability testing 

  

WE VALUE: 

  • Experience with high-speed digital bus layout such as DDR4 
  • Experience with designing battery powered devices for maximum battery life, high efficiency power supply design and implementation 
  • Knowledge and use of flexible PCB fabrication and design, designing PCB layouts for automated production line testing 
  • Knowledge of Image Processing and Computer Vision 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment 
  • Experience in designing for wide operating temperature environments 
  • Experience in designing RF circuits, Antennas, LTE, 802.15.4 networks 
  • Collaboration and willingness to support other developers in the team 
  • Verbal and written communication skills and team relationship-building focus  
  • Excellent problem solving with a natural interest in technology and a strong attention to detail
