Senior Electronics Engineer – Hertfordshire/Cambridge - £55,000 - £70,000 pa

A growing electronics manufacturer are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their R&D Team working on next generation sensor products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full product life cycle development of new products
• Develop hardware, firmware & software modules used for multiple products
• Identify emerging technologies
• Complete projects to a high standard and on time
• Maintenance of existing designs
• Hardware troubleshooting, fault finding & problem solving

Key Skills/Experience:

• PCB design & layout
• Analogue & Digital circuit design
• Sensors/Sensor design
• Electronics prototyping, test & soldering
• Embedded C/C++
• Microcontrollers & Peripherals

Nice to have’s/non – essentials

• RTOS (FreeRTOS)
• SMT
• Electro-mechanical design
• Design for hazardous environments (ATEX etc.)
