Location: Mobile, AL
Work Schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote
Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 (USD) with a negotiable signing bonus

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5-10 years of industry experience in chemical plants or heavy industrial environments. This role requires a collaborative professional dedicated to excellence, ready to contribute effectively within a team-oriented culture.

Key Qualifications:

1. Professional Engineering (PE) License (required)
2. On-Site Presence: Available to work on-site four days a week

Role Responsibilities:

• Apply department design and drafting standards, and create detailed design calculations for electrical installations.
• Serve as a technical resource for junior engineers, providing guidance and ensuring project specifications are met.
• Lead engineering and design activities from concept through implementation, coordinating across departments.
• Develop specifications and documentation for equipment such as motor control centers, switchgear, and control panels.
• Conduct on-site fieldwork, performing data collection, verifying project tie-ins, and supporting construction phases.

Required Expertise:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 10+ years in electrical and instrumentation engineering within industrial or manufacturing settings
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of NEC, AutoCAD or Microstation, voltage drop calculations, equipment specification, and design
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of effective team leadership
