Job Description:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of major electrical equipment and systems within the organization. You will play a crucial role in the design, execution, and optimization of projects across various domains, especially Chemical and Oil & Gas.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all phases of electrical equipment installations, including transformers, DG sets, motors, HT/LT panels, DB/CP, EHT systems, Cathodic Protection, Hazardous area equipment, and ELV systems.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure compliance with standards and client expectations.
  • Participate in and lead the design and implementation of HV, MV, and LV systems including load lists, single-line diagrams, schematics, and power/electrical/layout drawings.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client and vendor coordination, managing relationships independently and effectively.
  • Engage in hands-on fieldwork and provide technical guidance for both existing plant modifications and greenfield projects.
  • Gather data and inputs crucial for project planning and execution.
  • Coordinate between onsite and offshore teams to ensure project deliverables align with the organizational goals.
