Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects for a variety of markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our firm. 

General Duties:

• Design and program electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security
• Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT
• Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls
• Develop electrical system design calculations
• Perform QA/QC design work
• Share responsibilities in leading the electrical department
• Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers
• Review shop drawing submittals submitted by Contractors to confirm compliance with contract documents
• Complete code compliance research

Skills:

• Experience with Revit, SKM Power Tools for Windows, Easy Power, or other electrical system modeling/drafting software
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and IECC
• Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience specializing in design, maintenance, and/or operation of AC power systems, fire alarm systems, and communications systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required from an ABET-accredited program
• PE License a plus
