Electrical Engineer: Up to $180k (20 years of exp. required for the high end of the range)
Prefers someone in the Lexington area, but willing to consider Louisville, KY or Nashville, TN
Must Haves:
Majority of experience within an engineering consulting firm working on multiple projects, such as water treatment, pump stations, military
PE license
Senior Level experience - Leadership skills (previous exp in a Lead role highly preferred)
Minimum 15 years experience (prefer closer to 20 yrs for high end of range)
Engineering firm is seeking the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
- Professional Engineer Registration in at least one State
- Ability to seek reciprocity with other State Registration Boards
- Minimum 15+ years of experience designing and providing construction administration for facilities as a design consultant (more exp. is desirable)
- Knowledge of Military, Justice, or water treatment desirable
- Basic knowledge of building, electrical, fire codes and standards to determine engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and selection for different voltage systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Revit desirable
- VisualPro and/or AGI32 experience desirable
- SKM PowerTools for Windows experience desirable
- Past facilitation of LEED Certification or Green Globes desirable
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to plan project resources, maintain schedules, and stay within budget
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team (leadership experience highly preferred)
