Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize power and distribution transformers according to industry standards.
• Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with electrical specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct electrical testing, fault analysis, and performance evaluations on transformers.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and international transformer standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.).
• Assist with product development and innovation within transformer technology.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in transformer manufacturing, design, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of insulation systems, winding techniques, and core design.
• Experience with simulation software and electrical design tools.
• Understanding of industry standards (IEC, IEEE, and SANS).
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues in a manufacturing environment.
