Senior Electrical Engineer

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join a reputable engineering firm based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert engineering solutions for various projects, focusing on the design and implementation of electrical systems.

• Expectations for the Role:
• Apply sound engineering design principles to renewable energy facilities, focusing on PV and BESS technologies.
• Understand contract structures to develop technical schedules.
• Analyze and simulate multi-technology systems for energy production forecasting.
• Communicate effectively and understand business needs when coordinating with stakeholders

• Degree in Electrical/Electro Mechanical/Electronic Engineering.
• 7+ years of electrical/Electro Mechanical engineering experience, including:
• 5+ years in renewable energy.
• 3+ years in a project environment.
• 3+ years in distribution and reticulation design.
• Master’s degree in engineering (ideal).
• Experience with PVSyst modeling and AutoCAD LT.
• Design and execution of utility-scale PV projects.
• Exposure to high voltage networks and substations.
