Senior Electrical Engineer- 2 Months Contract

Premium Solutions Consultancy is hiring for a client in Qatar, seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee design and construction supervision for large infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems, building services, and the ability to work within BIM and 3D modelling environments.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• MME/MMUP/UPDA certification is required.
• Internationally recognized engineering licenses such as PE, CPEng, or CEng.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design and Construction Supervision, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, and IEC standards.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revit, and BIM software.
• Experience with primary substations (132/11 kV), MV and LV systems, and street lighting.
• Strong knowledge of power system analysis tools such as ETAP, Amtech, CYMCAP, and Harmonics analysis.

Preferred:

• Additional expertise in building services and power systems design.
• Familiarity with local GCC standards like Kahramaa, DEWA, and Civil Defense regulations.
