Job Role: Senior Electrical Engineer

 

Experience Required: 7 - 10 years

 

Location: Vadodara

 

Qualification: BE/BTECH Mechanical


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering principles, power distribution, control systems, and project management. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

"Design experience in HV, MV and LV system design, Lighting calculation and layouts, Chemical Domain preferred, Preparation of Electrical Deliverables independently, Client and Vendor co-ordination, Expertise in existing plant modification jobs as well as green field projects. 

1. Data / Input collection for projects.

2. Able to generate design document for multiple projects.

3. Exposure to HT and LT system design

4. Single line diagrams and Load list preparation

5. Electrical equipment specification preparation

6. Electrical layout preparation

7. Lighting design on DiaLux and layouts.

8. Earthing and Lightning system design.

9. Technical bid analysis / Tender preparation and evaluation.

10. BOQ/BOM preparation

11. Knowledge of Hazardous area requirements, Heat tracing system design etc. 

12. Knowledge of ELV systems. 

13. Onsite - offshore team coordination"

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Prepare electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety codes.
  • Develop and optimize electrical components and systems to enhance performance and efficiency.

Project Management:

  • Oversee electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and contractors.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure project success.

Testing & Compliance:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and system testing.
  • Perform risk assessments and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Ensure all designs meet national and international safety standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC, IEC).
  • Work with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and certifications.

Collaboration & Innovation:

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in research and development activities to enhance product innovation.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to improve production processes and quality.
