ABOUT THIS POSITION:

Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: East of Sacramento, CA
Compensation: Open; target range is $130K–$150K, with flexibility for highly experienced and motivated candidates.
Purpose of this Role:Β  This role focuses on leading the design, development, and optimization of advanced electrical systems and components. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing innovative solutions, ensuring cost-efficiency, and supporting the global push for sustainable and energy-efficient technologies.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will design and develop high-performance electrical systems for advanced applications. You will optimize designs to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and troubleshoot prototypes. Your work will have a direct impact on creating innovative and sustainable solutions for a forward-thinking organization.

AS A SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

Design and optimize high-performance electrical systems, including printed circuit boards (PCBs) Conduct value analysis to improve system efficiency and reduce costs Collaborate with lab teams to validate prototypes and troubleshoot performance issues Redesign systems to improve component availability and lead times Develop and implement test procedures and validation processes

YOU ARE/HAVE:

10+ years of electrical design and/or testing experience Expertise in PCB design, component selection, and circuit layout Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting Proficiency with Altium Designer (5+ years preferred) and other design tools A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience in value engineering and cost optimization (preferred) Knowledge of brushless DC motor control and electro-mechanical systems (preferred)
