Regional Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer - EMEA Job Summary
- This regional E&I engineer reports to the Electrical & Instrumentation Technical Center and provides support to multiple locations in ADM EMEA region.
- The focus of this regional role is to improve plant reliability, safety, efficiency, and compliance across electrical and instrumentation systems.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety & environmental regulations, and best practices.
- Perform regular technical assessments to identify opportunities, prioritize them and support locations on monitoring and closing gaps identified.
- Develop and implement best Maintenance Preventive & Predictive practices for E&I assets.
- Define and drive reliability metrics and KPI’s in support of operational goals while improving safety, reliability, and compliance.
- Provide technical support and improvement plan on E&I issues related to locations, maintaining regular contact with E&I site leaders.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis to support plant improvement plan.
- Ensure the Capital plan and maintenance budget are aligned with plant strategic direction.
- As electrical SME, conduct electrical & instrumentation inspections, working on technical documentation/standards, including design specifications and maintenance manuals.
- As technical expert, evaluate technical skills of colleagues on site, provide adapted training plan and play the role of coach.
Your profile
- Bachelor or above Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) or a related discipline.
- At least 7- 8 years of experience in electrical or instrumentation system, in an industrial / manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience in predictive and preventive maintenance for E&I equipment.
- Familiar with E&I related international IEC/IEEE standard, and country regulations and compliance.
- Good interpersonal skills and capable to manage external contractors.
- Experience in multicultural and multidisciplinary work in both local and remote team.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills (Including the ability to present information to a formal group) and any additional European language is a plus (French, German or Dutch).
- Willing to travel occasionally inside Europe.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the business environment and keep learning new technologies.
- This position will be ideally based at any main ADM plants in Europe. (Germany/Hamburg region, Netherlands/Rotterdam region, France/Reims region)
