The opportunity
Now we are looking for enthusiasts who would like to strengthen our growing team in Hitachi Energy Technology Center in Krakow, contributing to the heart of HVDC station: Modular Advanced Control for HVDC (MACH™).
You will join Analog HW Electronics team lead by Yuriy Puchkov, applying your knowledge and skills in technology and product development.

How you will make an impact
- You will see how your personal efforts converted to real product improvements, impacting evolution of electrical grids, making it more green, reliable, and resilient.
- You will develop new generations of control circuits, making MACH products more reliable and robust, influencing HVDC technology and other related products of Hitachi Energy.
- You will share your competence with organization, making our product development process more efficient, driving improvements in our documentation, design and testing infrastructure to make it adequate to current needs.
- You will participate in the full lifecycle of hardware platform for HVDC Control & Protection system, from idea, requirements, simulations, prototyping, testing up to release & sustaining production.
- You will drive technical reviews and project planning
Your background
- At least Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years professional analogue circuit board design experience, including design quality and reliability (DFMEA, MTBF, etc) and tools (e.g. SPICE, Altium, Zuken CADSTAR, PADS…).
- Experience in Power Electronics – industry proven topologies, modern semiconductor components and magnetics, design for 1kV and above.
- Excellent understanding of EMC principles, Power Integrity and management.
- Experience with laboratory test and measurement equipment, circuit boards testing and reworking, metrology fundamentals.
- Understanding electronic circuit boards manufacturing process (PCB, PCBA, DFM, etc).
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and good communication skills.
- English language – at least Intermediate / B2.
