Professional Electrical Engineer / Technologist

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant technical and practical experience in infrastructure projects, including medium and low voltage reticulation, distribution networks, substations, SSEG, and/or Control & Instrumentation (C&I)


• Professional registration with ECSA


• Proficiency in REVIT or AUTOCAD, Retic Master, DigSilent, and Homer

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and assess alternative design concepts, compile reports and estimates, and collaborate with both internal and external professionals


• Develop detailed designs, oversee the creation of drawings, and prepare tender documentation. Facilitate and support the tender process, including contractor selection and site handover. Act as the project discipline Lead Engineer when necessary


• Present technical work to stakeholders, clients, or senior management
