Job Title: Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (BSME, BSEE, or BSAE).
    • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
    • 5-9 years of progressive experience in the field.
    • Proficiency with engineering design software (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD) preferred.

Responsibilities:

    • As a fully competent Registered Professional Engineer, apply conventional engineering techniques to assigned tasks, making independent evaluations, selections, and substantial adaptations.
    • Lead the conceptual design for major phases of large facilities projects or oversee all engineering work on the project. Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering activities.
    • Supervise project design and progress, ensuring alignment with City, State, and County officials, as well as other external agencies. Resolve complex problems such as conflicting design requirements or coordination challenges.
    • Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, design teams, and relevant agencies.
    • Review and prepare technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.
    • Participate in contract bidding and administration; conduct site observations during project execution.
    • Supervise less experienced engineers and technical support staff. Perform other duties as directed by Project Engineers or Project Managers.
