Joining the system team, your mission will be to define the strategy for electronic activities, leading and managing Dark’s electronic workforce through the development of a cutting-edge orbital system.
Building upon a modular avionic architecture, you will ensure the embedded electronics reliability and its compatibility with the space environment. Synchronizing with the system lead, you will be directly involved in the design of Dark’s spacecrafts and have an immediate impact on its performance.
First Missions
- Getting up to speed on the avionic architecture and past electronics activities
- Taking ownership of the electronics team
- Upgrade and develop electronic boards dedicated to digital processing and sensor interfacing
Responsibilities
- Organizing and supervising the team's electronic activities
- Refining and improving the electronic architecture consistently with the system and mission specifications
- Guaranteeing the performance and reliability of the subsystems being developed
- Conception of electronic functions and boards
- Studying the effect of space radiation on the system and guaranteeing the operating safety
- Contributing to the definition of internal electronics engineering standards, processes, and tools
- Supporting other engineering fields with their system needs
- Exchanges with subcontractors and building partnerships
- Mentoring and training other team members
Requirements - 5+ years of experience, and proven knowledge in electronic design and systems engineering
- Hands on experience on industrial space projects
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking on reliability and fault tolerance analyses
- Expertise in electronic board design (Altium Designer) and electronic circuit simulation (Spice)
- Knowledge of the effects of space radiation is a plus
- As we have an international team, knowledge of technical English is required. Fluency in French is a plus

Total salary package begins at €60,000, along with additional performance-based and project-related bonuses.
