Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Junior Building Electrical Engineer for our Sherbrooke or Granby office.  Your mission will be to perform various load calculations and participate in the design of building electrical systems. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in commercial, institutional and hospital projects of various sizes, and at different levels of responsibility. You will collaborate with other members of the highly qualified team to develop solutions tailored to customer needs. You'll be able to grow quickly in an environment where accountability, autonomy and trust are strongly encouraged.

We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from one of our offices at Sherbrooke or Granby.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the design and development of plans and specifications.
  • Determine construction costs and quantities required, and monitor budgets.
  • Carry out studies and draft technical and progress reports.
  • Solve technical problems requiring research and analysis
  • Participate in construction supervision and site surveys
  • Participate, with project managers, in drawing up action plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or building engineering
  • Completion of at least one internship in building electricity
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or eligible to become a member
  • Knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD software an asset
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Driver's license and vehicle (for travel to job sites)
  • ASP Construction card (an asset)
