As an FPGA Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based solutions using VHDL and Xilinx platforms. You will work on innovative projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and performance-optimized designs for our products.
Responsiblities
FPGA Design & Development: Design and implement digital logic circuits using VHDL for Xilinx FPGA platforms (e.g., Zynq, Spartan, Kintex, Virtex).
Simulation & Testing: Create testbenches, perform simulations, and verify FPGA functionality to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements.
Synthesis & Optimization: Synthesize designs using Xilinx tools (ISE, Vivado) and optimize FPGA resource usage for performance and power consumption.
Hardware Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems, ensuring seamless communication with other system components.
Debugging & Troubleshooting: Use tools like ChipScope, Vivado Logic Analyzer, and other debugging tools to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
Documentation & Reporting: Document design specifications, test results, and modifications, and communicate progress to project stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest FPGA design methodologies, VHDL techniques, and Xilinx toolsets to enhance design quality and productivity.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in FPGA design and development, with a focus on VHDL and Xilinx FPGA platforms.
VHDL Proficiency: Strong knowledge of VHDL for FPGA development, including experience in writing RTL code, testbenches, and simulations.
Xilinx Tools Expertise: Hands-on experience with Xilinx development tools, including Vivado, ISE, and Xilinx SDK.
FPGA Design: Solid understanding of FPGA design flow, including synthesis, placement, routing, and timing analysis.
Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with digital design principles, FPGA architectures, and system integration.
