We are seeking a senior Software Engineer  to support the development, maintenance, and testing of embedded software in support of Air Traffic Control Radar sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with C, embedded software design and development for physical hardware, and experience with a Logic Analyzer.

Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and test real-time embedded software.
  • Solve embedded software problems and implement solutions.
  • Validate and integrate new designs for complex hardware and software systems.​
  • Track preparation and delivery status of required deliverables.
  • Attend and/or lead meetings, design reviews, working groups, and briefings.

Travel and Work Environment
  • On-site, full-time.
  • Occasional travel as required for installations and technical support.

Requirements

Required Skills
  • Have knowledge in programming, developing, and testing an embedded real-time computer system.
  • Be proficient with C or other high-level software languages.
  • Have the ability to learn a new language or already have experience with PLM-86.
  • Have experience in designing, developing, optimizing, coding, testing, reviewing and debugging embedded systems with real-time multitasking operating systems.
  • Have experience with utilizing a Logic Analyzer to troubleshoot embedded computer systems.

Technical Knowledge
  • C programming language.
  • High-level programming languages.
  • Real-time multitasking operating systems.

  • PLM-86.

Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and twenty (20) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field
  • (Or) Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and sixteen (16) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.

Work Authorization

  • US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.
