About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Environmental Engineer to join our team at Amentum. In this role, you will provide technical support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, conducting electromagnetic environment assessments and radio frequency surveys of DoD surface vessels, submarines, and shore facilities.

Your expertise in electromagnetic compatibility will be crucial in identifying hazards to ordnance, personnel, and fuel. You will also have the opportunity to travel worldwide to measure EMEs, analyze data, conduct research, and develop technical reports providing operational guidance for Fleet personnel.

To be successful in this role, you will require specialized experience using instrumentation and measurement systems for EMC, EMV, or HERO testing. Proficiency in preparing E3 technical documents, including test plans/reports, analytical evaluations, and presentations, is also essential.

Requirements:
β€’ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
β€’ Minimum four years of specialized EMC, EMV, or HERO engineering experience
β€’ Minimum two years of experience in each of the following areas: preparing E3 technical documents, knowledge in antenna system verification testing, application of military standards
