Position Summary: As an Electrical Designer, your main responsibility will be the primary driver of team projects by providing technical development of all designs and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Relies on experience and judgement for design, development, implementation, and analysis of engineering designs and systems.
  • Produces high quality, accurate, and consistent drawings.
  • Collects and prepares data/information and performs engineering calculations. Develops technical specifications and data sheets.
  • Performs construction administration, drawing review, and response to RFI’s.
  • Assists with preparation of project reports.
  • Conducts field work. Available to travel, as needed, dependent upon specfic project assignments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET accredited college or university; Associates Degree (2-year) from a technical college or university; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years experience in the field of AEC Engineering.
  • Photometric Software Proficiency is a plus.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) in progress or Engineer in Training complete, preferred.
  • Proficiency is required in Revit.
  • Position only available to candidates residing in EST and CST time zones.
