With more than 60 years of engineering experience in the building design industry, RMH is looking to add an Electrical Engineer Project Manager to our Lakewood office. A minimum of ten years of design experience in the building systems industry. Responsible for technical production tasks on projects. Ability to make decisions independently while collaborating with the team.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for project and client management
Responsible for designing electrical systems and performing design calculations
Responsible for small proposals and presentations to clients
Actively involved in training and mentoring other less experience engineers
Responsible for technical production tasks on projects
Perform load calculations & code research for lighting, power, and backup systems
Support the production of specifications
Conduct periodic job site observations
Reports/communicates to the project team
Responsible for developing fees and scopes and writing proposals
Ability to manage project budgets
Skills
Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involves in production of precise technical plans and drawings
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BIM, BlueBeam and REVIT software
Ability to communicate effectively – speaking, writing, listening and others
Ability to express ideas effectively, clearly and completely
Ability to lead a project team
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a four year ABET-accredit college or university.
Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in the MEP industry

The pay range for this position is expected to be within a range of $100,000 - $135,000 and is based upon multiple factors including level of experience, years of experience, professional registrations and applicant knowledge, skills, and abilities.
