of our Client, We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team
in the Oil & Gas sector in Alberta. The successful candidate will be
responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems for
oil and gas processing plants and facilities. This role requires a deep
understanding of electrical engineering principles, adherence to safety and
environmental standards, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in complex
industrial environments.

Requirements

• Develop and design electrical systems, including power
  distribution, control systems, and electrical infrastructure for oil and gas
  facilities.
  
• Lead and participate in projects from concept to
  completion, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
  
• Analyze existing electrical systems and recommend
  improvements or upgrades to enhance performance and safety.
  
• Provide technical support during installation,
  commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on-site.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including
  mechanical, civil, and process engineers, as well as vendors and contractors.
  
• Prepare detailed engineering documents, such as electrical
  drawings, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a
  recognized institution.
  
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation with APEGA or
  eligibility for registration in Alberta.
  
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
  in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in the design and maintenance of
  industrial electrical systems.
  
• Proficiency in electrical design software SmartPlant 3D, PDS, P&ID.
