If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a New Grad Electrical Engineer. This position is located at our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

Perform Design activities in accordance with the design process.  Developing to be responsible for all  phases of a design project consisting of: cost estimating, functional/design specifications, detailed design with calculations to support, tooling concepts, holding design reviews, final manufacturing drawings, following fabrication, assembly and tooling qualification, training of personnel, maintenance and operating procedures and first field implementation of new tooling.

  • Perform electrical engineering design evaluations and analysis. So, as to be able to specify components for use in systems.
  • Creating and/or revising procedures in support of design or field activities.
  • Support troubleshooting repair and functional testing of electro/mechanical equipment prior to deployment to nuclear plant sites.
  • Interface on a regular basis with vendors and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
  • Identify and recommend improvements in processes/equipment on continuing basis and assist in implementation.
  • Support field implementation and troubleshooting of equipment used for inspections at nuclear plant sites.

 

Who You Are:

 

  • 2023/2024 including recent 2024 graduates w/ a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Strong technical aptitude required – Passion for Technical Design and Analysis
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
  • Must strongly value safety & quality
  • Knowledge about non-destructive examination techniques is desirable.
  • Must be fluent with the Microsoft office suite of products including; Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge about robotics, multi-axis scanners and controls systems is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Travel of 20% is expected.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access in a commercial nuclear power facility.
