StraCon Services Group is seeking a Full-Time, Electrical Engineer, Journeyman to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, FL.  NAWCTSD is the Navy’s principal center for modeling, simulation and training systems technologies. The position supports the Rapid Design, Development and Fabrication Lab. The mission of the RD2F Lab is to provide NAWCTSD with an in-house, rapid-response design, development, and production capability for advanced modeling and simulation technology products. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Perform engineering duties in designing, developing, constructing and testing of Navy training devices. 
Experience Requirements:
  • Candidate must have approximately 3 or more years of experience with hardware and software design and integration. 
Experience should also include:
  • Possess the ability to coordinate and integrate the work activities of several different engineering disciplines for more than one project at any one time.
  • Possess the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing in working out solutions to problems or questions relating to the Acquisition program.
  • Must be experienced with Performance Specifications, SOW documentation, CDRL’s.
  • Ability to provide cost effective training systems solutions based on schedules and budget.
  • Possess the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing in working out solutions to problems or questions relating to the Acquisition program.
  • Experience with Electronic circuit and printed circuit board design.
  • Experience with OrCAD Capture / PCB Editor suite of applications preferred.
Education Requirements:
  •  B.S. in Electrical Engineering.  Bachelor’s of Science Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree from an accredited institution.
 
Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
