Electrical Engineering Intern

Pay range: $20-24/hr DOE

**This position is located in Syracuse, NY.

Position Summary

Listed work hours 7:30am - 4:00pm (Negotiable)

Provides controls solutions, electrical design packages and software based on specifications, and standardized design practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assists Engineers with answering electrical questions regarding manufacturing, sales, service, purchasing, engineering, and R&D related to Cryomech products.


• Assists Engineers with the design/troubleshoot/test of new control circuits.


• Test/troubleshoot new vendor parts.


• Prepare work instructions related to electrical controls.


• Support RoHS compliance.


• Train new and existing employees on electrical equipment


• Act as backup contact for power/electrical systems.


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 
  

  In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience in software development preferred. Hands-on experience with PLC programming/troubleshooting. Experience working with regulatory standards such as IEC, UL, NEC, and CE.
