We are seeking an engineering student to join our Advanced Surgical R&D team for an electrical engineering internship during Summer, 2025.
The Advanced Surgical division is the provider of innovative solutions that enhance the outcomes of laparoscopic, robotic and open surgical procedures. The division’s vision is to change lives by lowering the impact of surgery.

As an Advanced Surgical Electrical Engineering Intern, you will learn alongside seasoned professionals through hands-on application of engineering principles and methodologies. Your efforts in problem solving, creative thinking and cross-functional collaboration will directly contribute to the team’s R&D projects and initiatives. You will be involved in the new product development process for a cutting edge medical instrument that CONMED is developing and will have the opportunity to learn the CONMED design control process, and be intimately involved with product design, development, verification and validation.
