We are seeking an early career Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing and test of the Trident II D5 Missile. This Engineer will be located in Kings Bay, Georgia, at the US Navy’s Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT). In order to fulfill this position, the individual must be able to obtain Material Review Board (MRB) certification within 2 years. Must be willing to work around ordnance, shift work, and overtime as required.

In this role you will:
• Work on missile hardware and associated electrical support equipment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed hardware, Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components, and associated system/subsystem level components.
• Work directly with functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure proper system/subsystem level performance.
• Develop and execute detailed troubleshooting plans based upon circuit analysis and missile system/subsystem level interface knowledge and analysis
• Review, evaluate, and derive technical requirements for missile/component level testing
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for missile system and subsystem level testing
• Coordinate missile system/subsystem testing activities and discrepancy analysis with design engineers and other organizations
• Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive system/subsystem level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance
• Write discrepancy reports and perform integration/regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to hardware and software
• Test data management and reporting duties as required
• Support overtime and weekend/shift operations as required by program and operational schedule
This position requires an Interim Secret prior to starting – U.S. Citizenship Required.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related degree from an ABET accredited college or university, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance. Interim Secret clearance required prior to start. Cannot be a dual citizen.
• Ability and willingness to work around ordnance

• Word, PowerPoint, & Excel computer skills
• Effective written & verbal communication skills
Desired skills• Knowledge of C or C++ programming languages.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical and electromechanical schematics.
• Basic knowledge and experience with Electrical Engineering theory and applications.
• Experience with analog and digital electronics,
• Experience with measurement equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.), signal measurement software, and associated practical applications.
• Basic circuit design skills with hands-on experience.
• Experience in electrical system test and troubleshooting activities to include Hardware/Software interfaces, software interpretation, and subassembly function with a focus on Failure Analysis.
• Experience with RF and other wireless communication systems.
• Familiarity of Linux, UNIX, and Windows based Operating Systems.
• Experience with database management activities.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment and effectively communicate technical information to other groups.
• Display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to work remotelyOnsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
