Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to travel and to work closely with engineering management as well as customers? Our customer is seeking an Electrical Engineer to apply their expertise in design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and installation of heavy manufacturing machinery.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure successful installation, start up, and commissioning of converting equipment, including traveling to the customer location, as required.
Product testing and troubleshooting to certify that the equipment meets requirements.
Assist in designing equipment’s electrical components and systems.
Perform drafting of electrical component schematic designs, panel layouts and development of BOMs.
Support the coordination of assembly operations during equipment construction.
Build and implement electric component control programs so the PLC, HMI, motion and message display properly function.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
Zero to three years of engineering design experience with converting equipment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, utilization of hand tools, basic electronic measuring devices, and a laptop computer.
Experienced in AutoCAD, PLC, and motion control software.
