Electrical Engineer-(detailed electrical installation design)

In line with our increasing business, we are looking for qualified and experienced candidates for Electrical Engineer-(detailed electrical installation design) to be based in our Thailand office.

Number of staffs required : 2 persons

Employment term : 6 month contract, extendable depending on skills and requirement of works in the project.

Regular working days: Mon-Fri., 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

Responsibility : Responsible for managing, planning, monitoring and control overall detailed designs engineering works for electrical and instrument equipment installations such as cabling works, cable routing layout, detailed installation and fixing, electrical equipment arrangement. Cables detailed installation in cable trench, cable trays in building and on pipe racks, ductbank, IPB/busduct, conduits, overhead line installation, grounding and lightning protection, cables schedule, cable drum scheduling, BOM, hazardous area classification, electrical system for building service system e.g. fire alarm, lighting system, CCTV, telecommunication,…,etc.

The candidate shall possess management skill, leadership, maturity, logical judgement, negotiation skill and have experience in managing a group of engineers and designers.

• Manage overall electrical detailed installation drawings to be issued in time with good quality
• Working and coordinate detailed installation design with other disciplines
• Coordinate detailed installation design with other disciplines
• Review other disciplines drawings as a part of Inter-Discipline Check for details related to electrical installation design
• Participate 3D model review meeting with clients
• Meeting with clients and/or third party for any issues relevant electrical installation detailed design
• Planning, prioritizing, scheduling, monitoring and controlling the works under his responsibility

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Power engineering.
• Familiar with international codes and standards relevant to detailed electrical installation design in industrial plant such as NEC, IEC, IEEE/ANSI, NFPA, EIT standards
• Having 7 years or more experience in detailed design of cabling works such as cable routing layout, cable trays, cable trench, conduit, ductbank, cables schedule, bulk materials take off, electrical equipment layout, grounding, lightning protection, lighting design, fire alarm, CCTV, telephone/paging systems.
• Experienced in power plant, petrochemical plant project, preferably power plant projects.
• Experience in using Dialux software for lighting illumination calculation
• Having ability to manage works under time and resources constraints to finish works in time with good quality and having ability to work under pressure
• Having good logic of thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Good in English communication
