Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team in Charleston, TN. This role involves providing engineering and technical services to support Operations service units, ensuring safe operations, regulatory compliance, and enhanced efficiency. You will work closely with Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C) Engineering teams to maintain safety and compliance within production units.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with EI&C Engineering counterparts to ensure safe operations and regulatory compliance of production units.
  • Support and maintain instrumentation and automation systems for production units.
  • Provide consulting support for capital projects executed by project engineering teams.
  • Facilitate process and technology transfer between production sites.
  • Assist in capital investment and expense-type projects.
  • Conduct or coordinate debottlenecking and troubleshooting activities to optimize processes.
  • Apply Electrical & Instrumentation engineering expertise to assigned process areas.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, and cost.
  • Support the development of engineering specifications, standards, and codes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Computer Science Engineering.
  • 3 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge in electrical or instrumentation engineering, including relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and construction practices.
  • Must be physically fit to wear an air-purifying respirator if necessary.
