About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a temporary position expected to last 3-4 months. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in PCB design, microcontroller-based systems, and board bring-up. The position is primarily onsite, though some remote work may be possible. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing, updating, and testing PCB schematics while ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

What You Will Do

    • Design and create new PCB schematics based on requirements.
    • Update existing designs to new revisions.
    • Conduct schematic and layout reviews.
    • Perform board bring-up and testing.
    • Select and evaluate electronic components for circuit designs.
    • Follow all FDA guidance, industry best practices, and company SOPs.
    • Collaborate with external board houses as needed.

What You'll Need to Have

    • 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
    • Strong familiarity with Altium for PCB design.
    • Hands-on experience with microcontroller-based PCBA schematic and layout.
    • Knowledge of the STM32 family of microcontrollers.
    • Experience with STM32Cube IDE and toolchain.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical field.

    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience working on FDA-regulated projects.
    • Proficiency in embedded coding (C / C++).
    • Experience reviewing and drafting formal requirements.
    • Previous collaboration with external board houses.

Our interview processes my differ slightly from role-to-role; however, most of our interviews will follow a similar pattern:

We are an early-stage company and may change our interview process from time-to-time, but our hope is everyone who interviews with us has a positive experience, even if an offer isn’t presented.  
 
Salary Range: DOE $65-85/hr
