ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (Antennas)
Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer to join our Advanced Apertures group located in Denver, Colorado area. The position provides an opportunity to join an elite team and enhance the performance of an organization whose primary mission is to support our nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, with little guidance, operating within their supervisor’s intent. POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking engineers to perform work on antennas, apertures, arrays, associated electronics for mission system applications on air vehicles, missiles, ground, ship and space vehicles. Scope of work includes research and development, initial concept through requirements definition topology selection, detailed design, analysis, optimization, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and delivery to customer.
The selected Engineer will have responsibility for and should have expertise in the following areas:
- Demonstrated RF knowledge with solid understanding of electromagnetics fundamentals
- Working knowledge of Antenna and Antenna Arrays concepts
- Good understanding of Radar Cross section reduction techniques
- Proficiency in 3D electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, SENTRi, and ADS
- Hands on experience using RF test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)
- Programming capability in C, VBA, Python or Matlab preferred
- Hands on experience in performing RF & RCS testing in far-field anechoic chambers
- Participating in cross-functional reviews of designs
- Work with internal and external customer teams to design, qualify and support customer evaluations
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS with 5 years of experience or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electromagnetics
- Eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance. Special Access Program experience is preferred
- Experience in ensuring design meets set requirements for; performance, schedule, and cost
- Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships as part of a technical team in a fast pace environment
- Good planning and organization skills
- Fluent in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Powerpoint
- Analyze design risks, anticipate, and mitigate risks when possible, and report concerns to supervisor.
- Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.

In connection with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Resonant Sciences will provide the following salary range and benefits for this position. Factors that determine salary may include specific skills, years of experience, and education.
Salary Estimate: $70,000 – $140,000
