Electrical Engineer

Summary: Oversee and coordinate the development of energy management, system monitoring, entertainment, data handling, user interface and other supporting electrical systems for use in premium Recreational and Commercial Vehicles, from concept to implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All associates of Airstream are required to know and adhere to the policies and procedures which pertain to his/her position.

1. Provide Leadership and technical expertise in Team activities associated with the layout, design, specification, documentation, testing, & implementation of complex vehicle electrical and electronic systems including the development of schematics, layouts, construction drawings, and installation aids.

2. Aid in the methodology, design, and practice of product testing to validate design intent, consumer safety, and overall quality as well as compliance to applicable regulatory requirements

3. Research warranty, Customer Service, & Operations feedback related to Electrical Systems to identify opportunities for improvement in current or future designs

Skills/Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in the Engineering development, testing, & implementation of complex electrical systems and components

2. Ability to lead Engineering groups, designers, or other individual Team members as needed to achieve design objectives and deliver high quality results on time and on budget
