Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design and Control: Design, control, and improve electrical systems and equipment to meet engineering standards and operational requirements.
- Inspection and Compliance: Inspect installations and operations to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and operational regulations.
- Technical Drawings and Specifications: Prepare and review detailed technical drawings and specifications for electrical systems, ensuring alignment with electrical codes.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate plant economics to determine optimal operating conditions, and redesign systems as needed to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Monitor process parameters and troubleshoot electrical systems to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Equipment Selection and Commissioning: Collaborate with teams to select, test, and commission new equipment, ensuring compatibility with plant systems.
- CAPEX Proposals: Submit capital expenditure (CAPEX) proposals to contribute to the companyβs long-term operational goals.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on electrical system performance and project progress.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Perform all duties in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation system maintenance, with at least 5 years of experience working with high-voltage systems.
Strong knowledge of plant equipment, controls, and power systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and D365.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
