We are actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our dedicated team of professionals in Chambersburg, PA. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of power distribution systems, instrumentation and controls systems, SCADA, and lighting systems. Other duties will include:

  • Design and develop power, control, and SCADA systems for various civil engineering projects, including but not limited to wastewater treatment plants, water treatment plans, wastewater pump stations, water booster stations, etc.
  • Perform designs and evaluations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines across multiple offices to integrate electrical systems seamlessly within the overall project design.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with other staff, clients, and contractors.
  • Attend client meetings and perform site visits for both design and construction.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports, to communicate design concepts and project requirements effectively.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase, including resolving any electrical-related issues and ensuring the adherence to design specifications.
  • Attend training seminars as required to in order to understand new and emerging technologies.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Electrical Engineers license in Pennsylvania is preferred
  • 5 + years’ experience working on projects that include that include wastewater pumping station and treatment systems, water booster station and treatment systems, SCADA and lighting system designs including preparation of drawings and specifications
  • Must be able to travel,  both day and overnight, within the geographic range of the company
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution and instrumentation and control is required
  • Proficient in power distribution, instrumentation and controls
  • Hands on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interface hardware and software packages
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and environmental applications
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D is preferred
  • Holds a valid US Driver’s License to travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices
  • Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
