Electrical Engineer

Skills/Experience:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all work-related functions in a safe and orderly manner.
• Must have strong knowledge and experience with 480v, PLCs, AB ControlLogix, or other brands.
• Lead and direct the electrical and instrumentation departments' reliability and training initiatives.
• Electrical reliability programs to improve the reliability of instrumentation and electrical distribution systems.
• Lead and direct specialty contractors.
• Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.
• Equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Direct and coordinate installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipment.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

• The Electrical Engineer Position requires an individual that is self-motivated to continually increase knowledge base to make the Maintenance Department more effective and the company more competitive.
• Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business.

Education and Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of experience working in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to such safety hazards as heavy fork truck traffic, ability to work around steel parts heated to over 2000°F, and automated equipment such as conveyors and Robots.
