Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering and interdisciplinary design across all project stages.
  • Proficient in using standards and codes for building services.
  • Knowledge of Wiring Regulations, Fire Detection Systems, General and Emergency Lighting design.
  • Experience conducting MEP building services surveys with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to peer review with a strong understanding of regulatory and standards documentation.
  • Experience working on a variety of projects through different RIBA stages, including existing buildings.
  • Ability to undertake essential calculations, apply electrical theory, and understand 3-phase LV systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, and contractors.
  • Previous consultancy experience, appreciating the value of complementary specialisms such as acoustics and fire engineering.
  • Autonomous approach: able to lead small to medium projects and support large projects.
  • Chartered engineer or close to achieving it.
  • Strong mentoring and supervisory skills for junior staff members.
