Post: Plant Electrical Engineer
Qualification: B.E. Electrical
Experience: At least 4 years in similar profile
Age: Below 30 years
Gender: Male
Location: Panoli (15 km from Ankleshwar)
Salary: up to Rs. 30,000 CTC per month
Skills:
1. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
2. Understanding of PLC/SCADA systems.
3. Understanding of computers and IT infrastructure.
4. Advance knowledge of using Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
5. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter
etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
8. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
Duties & Responsibility:
1. Prepare, plan and execute monthly & yearly preventive maintenance schedule.
2. Do root cause analysis of every electrical breakdown, make proper documentation, take
measures to add required activities in maintenance schedule to prevent it from
happening in future.
3. Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
4. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
5. Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
6. Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and
insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
7. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or
substitute damaged units.
8. Plan and undertake installations of electrical components and wiring for new project
work, modifications and improvements in existing setup.
9. He should coordinate with mechanical & production team for smooth operation of
electrical systems.
10. Do periodic weight calibrations of weighbridge, weigh feeder belt, packing machines,
water meter etc.
11. Prepare and maintain excel list of all electrical equipments, motors, VFD, components
at plant with all the important specification.

12. Maintain electrical consumable item stock. Make material requisition as per the re-
order level or in case of new project or modification prepare BOQ and make material

requisition. Ensure all the critical electrical components are available at plant for
smooth plant operations.
13. Handle and store consumables in store room as per system, manage issue and receipt
of material.
14. Manage scarp of electrical items and co-ordinate its disposal as per system.
15. Float inquiry to vendors for non-routine (special) electrical items on IndiaMart or other
such avenues for seeking quotation. Developing new vendors for such items.
16. Co-ordinate with agencies for maintaining, programming and re-programming of
SCADA (Honeywell) software, hardware & programs.
17. Co-ordinate with external agencies/service centre for repair and maintenance of
electrical equipments & machinery.
18. Co-ordinate with GEB for power line problems, load management and other related
issues.
19. Direct and train electricians to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
20. Prepare various daily MIS reports related to power consumption.
21. Handling of inward material invoices, following approval system & documentation
procedure, forwarding documents to HO for further accounting, making GRN entry in
ERP.
