Transport for Brisbane (TfB) division operates and maintains one of the largest public transport fleets in Australia to deliver public transport services for the people living, working, and visiting the City of Brisbane. Through contracts with the State Government and private organisations we provide clean, convenient, and effective transport options on bus, CityCat, ferry, e-bike, e-scooter, and Brisbane Metro, our latest modern fleet of battery electric vehicles.
Our Branch
Engineering and Asset Management Branch is responsible for maintenance of bus fleet and charging infrastructure. The branch provides technical support for delivery of new electric bus depots, procures bus fleet, products, and services; and coordinates major projects and divisional ICT requirements.
Our newest responsibility is the management of electrical assets and infrastructure associated with Brisbane Metro.
The Role
The Electrical Engineer will provide electrical engineering support for operation and maintenance of electrical charging infrastructure for Brisbane Metro and the battery electric bus fleet.

You are an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer early in your career with a passion to work in the evolving industry of electric vehicle charging. You will have the envious opportunity to work on modern high voltage substations and high power DC vehicle chargers, along with industrial automation, SCADA and energy management systems.
You will be proactive emerging professional who will contribute to the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of essential electrical infrastructure.
