Position Overview:
Seeking multiple Electrical Engineers across various experience levels to support power electronics and control system development. Candidates should have a minimum 3.3 GPA and experience with power systems, ideally within Navy or DoD projects. Engineers will work on SiC-based power electronics with a focus on developing advanced power converter topologies, high-speed motor drives, and digital control algorithms.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (minimum 3.3 GPA); advanced degrees (MS, PhD) are advantageous
- Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance
- Highly Desirable:
- Experience levels ranging from entry to senior engineers
- Knowledge of embedded software for motor drives, AC-DC, and DC-AC converters
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, DSPs, and FPGAs, specifically TI C2000 DSPs and Altera FPGAs
- Hands-on experience with HIL platforms such as OPAL-RT and Typhoon
- High Power SiC and Silicon power device integration for converters/inverters
- MV converter design for power levels between 50kW - 500kW, scalable to MW range
- Controller-Hardware-in-the-Loop development using platforms like Typhoon and PLECS
- Projects may include applications in Navy, Army, and aviation systems
