DescriptionMidPlaza Holding is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components for various projects. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and project specifications. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting basic calculations for electrical system requirements.
- Understanding customer needs, including budget and timeline.
- Developing the design concept for the electrical system while considering efficiency and operational reliability.
- Providing a design concept brief (TOR) to the MEP consultant.
- Creating a schedule for the completion of electrical design drawings.
- Coordinating design efforts with Architects, Interior Designers, Structural Engineers, and Landscape Architects.
- Providing a package of electrical design drawings to the in-house QS or QS consultant as a reference for calculating the Bill of Quantities (BQ).
- Providing an outline specification for electrical equipment to the QS as a reference for vendor proposals.
- Reviewing the contractor's MEP shop drawings.
Requirements - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- The engineer must be able to identify problems and provide solutions.
- Proficient in calculations, criteria, design standards, and electrical system concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic AutoCAD.
- Responsible, loyal to the company, and possesses a strong desire to learn.
- Detail-oriented in performing tasks.
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, especially in explaining designs clearly.
- Capable of leading and motivating MEP drafters, including setting targets and expectations.
- Able to provide solutions under pressure.
- Capable of managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate and maintain good relationships with colleagues.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the same field, experience working in an MEP consulting firm is preferred.
