We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with over 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of building systems and codes, and will be capable of performing various aspects of electrical engineering on multi-discipline building design projects for both commercial and government facilities.
Responsibilities
• Perform all aspects of electrical design services including conceptual studies, programming, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents under the supervision of a Senior Electrical Engineer or Principal.
• Participate in the construction phases by conducting field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing record drawings.
• Select and layout electrical systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and code compliance in drawings and specifications for schematic, design development, and construction document submittals.
Essential Skills
• 4+ years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of building systems and building codes.
• US Citizenship is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with Revit is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering and design.
• Familiarity with drafting and engineering practices.
Work Environment
This is an in-office position, requiring attendance 5 days a week with 8-hour days starting between 7am and 8:30am, depending on what works best for the individual. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.63 - $43.53/hr.
