3-year dual study programme in electrical engineering (electronics or automation) starting on 1 September 2025 at our Waldkirch site in cooperation with the Cooperative State University Mannheim (automation) or Lörrach (electronics).

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:



  • Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments such as Research & Development, Production and Application Development

  • Activities including the development of electronic circuits, the programming of hardware-related systems, the construction and commissioning of electronic prototypes up to series production readiness

  • Assignments relating to our sensors: from their creation in development to quality assurance in production and the realisation of customer requirements in applications

  • Activities include the development and optimisation of electronic circuits, design and programming of hardware-related systems, validation of applications and the investigation of new technologies for future developments

  • The tools used include simulation programmes, electronic CAD programmes and programming languages such as C/C++ and Python

  • Study contents: Mathematics, programming, digital technology, analogue technology, sensor technology, measurement technology, project management, PLC systems and functional safety

  • We offer electronics and automation as a field of study


 


WHAT YOU NEED:



  • A-levels, specialised university entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification (plus passing the delta exam at the DHBW) or comparable training

  • Strong interest in innovation and new technologies

  • Good performance in maths and physics as well as an understanding of technology and science

  • Enthusiasm for innovation and interest in the technologies in our company

  • Analytical and precise way of working and solution-orientation

  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to take on responsibility

  • Good German language skills (language level C1), see admission requirements of the dual university
