Wisk’s internship experience is a 12 week, hands-on program. Our goal for our internship program is to see what it’s like to be a full time Wisk employee and complete meaningful work.

We are looking for a BMS Electrical Engineer to join our team for summer 2025. The goal of a BMS Electrical Engineer at Wisk is to ensure that the BMS Circuit Board is designed, tested and integrated with BMS software and the Power Distribution hardware. You will be part of the Electrical Storage & Power System Integrated Product Team (ESPS IPT) team.

Responsibilities:

    • As part of the ESPS organization, you will act as a design and lab test engineer for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
    • You will work on our cutting edge BMS design in a fast paced environment
    • Perform design analysis and lab testing

Requirements:

    • Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027 with a focus on electrical engineering, computer engineering (or equivalent)
    • The candidate is comfortable working with electrical circuits, embedded systems, PCB design, lab testing and related instrumentation. 
    • Schematic design & capture, PCBA design (Altium preferred)
    • Electrical design analysis (PSpice)
    • Embedded systems hardware and software integration testing (embedded C, Python scripting, working with RTOS)
    • Taking Lab measurements with Ocilliscopes, Logic Analyzers and other instrumentation
    • Soldering experience
Hourly rate will be $25 USD an hour.

This internship role will be based at Wisk's office in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.

Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA
You must be legally authorized to work in the US for the duration of Internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
