Required Qualifications
An earned doctorate in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a closely related discipline. Record of being PI or Co-PI of several funded research projects. Record of teaching experience as a full-time electrical engineering faculty member. Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine/Deep Learning, Data Analysis, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Augmented and Virtual Reality. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
Preferred Qualifications
An ability to work collaboratively with faculty across multiple departments and programs. Substantial knowledge of ABET accreditation procedures and deliverables. Industrial or post-doctoral experience (in an area of expertise that complements those of the department faculty). Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Sensors, Embedded Systems, ASIC , SoC and FPGA System Design, Microprocessors, Sensors and Systems, and Computer Architecture. An ability to effectively mentor EE students at all levels. Record of being PI of several funded research projects in Machine/Deep Learning and/or Augmented and Virtual Reality Data. Record of academic and/or professional service leadership accomplishments.
