Required Qualifications
An earned doctorate in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline. Potential to establish an externally-funded, nationally recognized research program. A research agenda in one or more of the following areas: IoT, 5/6G wireless communications, networking, and sensing. Evidence of strong teaching abilities and the potential for success in graduate and undergraduate settings encompassing classroom instruction and teaching laboratories. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.

Preferred Qualifications
An ability to work collaboratively with faculty across multiple departments and programs. Industrial, or post-doctoral experience (in an area of expertise that complements those of the department faculty). Knowledge about ABET accreditation procedures and deliverables. Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: heterogeneous computer and communication systems, autonomous vehicle systems, network security, secure hardware, and secure data storage, with possible intersections with emerging areas in AI and ML. An ability to effectively mentor EE students at all levels.
