Job Summary:  

The Co-op Engineer will assist the Engineering Department with production activities. Primary work involves using AutoCad and/or SolidWorks to design wiring schematics per the customer specifications. At the end of every rotation, you will present out deliverables, experiences and recommendations.

Other functions include:
  • Product setup and testing
  • Product troubleshooting
  • Alternative part sourcing and evaluation
  • Other job duties as assigned

What you will be working on: this should include projects
 
  • Student will focus on creating wiring schematics and designs for motorized control cabinets per customer’s specifications

Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Education: Student enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in Electrical Engineering who has completed their freshman year of college.
  • Experience: Working knowledge of AutoCad, SolidWorks or other CAD software.
  • Must be willing to work 3 or more rotating semesters.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple schematics
